A quick answer to a quick question. Some find a slight curvature of their boards as they lay them on the floor, and worry that the plank is warped. Here, Adam demonstrates whether they are warped, and what a warped board would really look like.

    What we did not illustrate, because we could not find a properly warped plank in our stock, is that from the top, a straight board looks like this:
