Wood Laminate Flooring Looks So Real!
Frank started this post 2 years ago, then our blog sort of... died! Now that it's alive again, I found this in the Pending Posts Archive, and thought Frank's last few entries should be given some light. So this then another next week for all the Flooring Blog Aficionados who long for the good ol' days of the Floors To Your Home weblog.
I have an idea for you. Go to the store and stick your face right up to laminate flooring and tell me what you see. I’ll wait.

Done?
It looks exactly like wood doesn’t it?
These days, it’s almost impossible to see the differences between real wood and laminate wood flooring. But the difference can be one of importance – price.
Laminate wood flooring is significantly cheaper, easier to install, and easier to maintain. It looks exactly the same and even is stronger at protecting against dogs, chairs and children sliding around and making messes.
But the look is unbelievably the same as wood. That is because wood laminate flooring is a picture of wood under a layer of transparent, protective laminate. The average Joe will not be able to tell the difference which is why wood laminate flooring is a strong, cheaper alternate to real wood flooring.
